The ongoing battle between Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford. But, who will win?
As a 19-year-old woman, I am aware of the un-necessary reoccurrence of males abusing their power over less dominant females in society, using it as an open window for sexual harassment/ abuse. However, ever since the Harvey Weinstein case, I am glad (along with the 'MeToo' movement) that more people are coming forward to put a stop to it.
The predicament with a lot of cases, unfortunately, is the lack of evidence. In this one, I genuinely don't know who to believe.
Christine Blasey Ford is one of the few women who have accused Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
To some extent, the fact that Donald Trump, a man who has a very guilty conscience, is supporting Kavanaugh doesn't resonate any further clarification of the truth. This just makes me believe there is a sneaky deal going on behind the scenes.
Recently, Emily Ratajkowski and Amy Schumer were both arrested after protesting in Washington DC against Kavanaugh. Emily tweeted: 'Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power."
They were both among hundreds of others at the anti-Kavanaugh protest.
So, it seems that many people are recognising the real truth of this trial already. Despite this, many people still believe Christine Blasey Ford is lying.
One video on YouTube depicts her body language as an easy indicator of her lying.

The video describes how she has putting on a show and acting "cute" to make her audience sympathise for her. Henceforth, this is indefinitely making it harder for us all to know the truth.
