Northumbria University, Newcastle, Saturday 8 December 2018
When most artists pitch up at Northumbria University, the congested room makes space for energetic mosh pits in the centre of the room. Maybe a way to release the stress of deadlines and exams...
This time, I was surprised to have found myself sandwiched between members of the older generation (40+). And quite frankly, I was pleased to see it. When the whole crowd is jumping together, all different ages and races, you can forget about what's going on in your life and enjoy the atmospheric ecstasy.
Emerging into the music scene in 2016, the three-piece indie rock band secured BBC Radio 1's track of the week with their debut single "Reaction" in 2017. They then went on to play at one of the nations largest festivals, Glastonbury, as well as introducing stages at Reading and Leeds.

The Newcastle band played for over an hour, being supported by Old Pink House, another band that I was left hungry to listen to.
After taking a break from the gig scene for a good 5 years, it was a nostalgic experience to be taken back to the year 11 days of going to see small bands at boxy venues. And I've missed it thoroughly.
Unlike tech events, there is no need to dress in the most pretentious and ostentatious garments. Let's not forget the stream of photos on Instagram with the caption "time for a boogie with the gals".
There's simply no dress code for a gig. Wear what you want. Put on your Reebok trackies, if you wish.
The Pale White
The band kicked off with hit tracks such as 'End of Time', 'That dress' and 'Loveless' as well as teasing us with some of their new upcoming tracks. No surprise that they were sonic masterpieces.
This band will take off and I have no doubt that they will begin to grow continuously.
-Loveless.
-A teaser of one of their new songs which clearly emanates tranquillity.
